VETERINARIANS
Delia Macdonald received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University. After working as a mixed animal veterinarian she completed advanced training in veterinary acupuncture through IVAS (International Veterinary Acupuncture Society).
Dr. Delia saves some of her magic for yoga, running, spending time outdoors and being a Mom.
Dr. Ayse Washington was born in New York and migrated to Florida. After receiving her undergraduate degrees at the University of Florida she graduated from Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. Over the years she has held positions in general practice, emergency medicine, critical care and rehabilitation. She completed her coursework in acupuncture at the Chi Institute for Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine in 2013. She obtained her rehabilitation certification from the University of Tennessee’s Canine Rehabilitation Program in 2013. She is interested in energy work, and enjoys camping and hiking with her husband.
Her veterinary experience includes small animal general and emergency practice and small and large animal anesthesia and pain management. She has served on the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association Board of Directors and helped develop their Power of Ten Leadership Academy program. In addition to her consulting work through Joy Fuhrman and Associates, LLC, Dr. Fuhrman is a veterinary practice owner and an Adjunct Faculty at Midwestern University’s College of Veterinary Medicine.
She is truly passionate about allowing the body to heal itself! Her biggest passions lie in Chinese medicine and spinal manipulations. She is very excited to offer her services to the equine community here! In her spare time Dr. Emily is an avid outdoors woman. She enjoys hiking with her boyfriend and her energetic dog Delilah, backpacking, rock climbing, weight lifting and exploring new places.
